Service description.

The network of OJSC “MTT” is implemented in strict adherence to the requirements of regulatory documents for long-distance and international telecommunication network. 6 transit international switches (TISs) are functioning in the network, transit national switches (TNSs) are installed in each federal district, points of connection to the MTT network are provided in all 88 subjects of the Russian Federation.

Peculiarities and advantages.

Connection to networks of foreign telecom operators is provided at the international level of connection to the international transit switch (ITS)  of OJSC “MTT”.

The International premium termination service involves traffic transmission from a point of connection to the network of OJSC “MTT” at the international level to the user (terminal) equipment connected to a telecommunication network of other telecom operator on the RF  territory.

The International Transit Service involves traffic transmission from a point of connection to the network of OJSC “MTT” at the international level to the point of connection to the network of other telecom operator outside the RF  territory.

Basic advantages of the MTT services for telecom operators are:

• All mobile and fixed communication operators in the Russian Federation are connected to the network of OJSC “MTT”;
• The capability to transmit traffic from/ to telecom networks of all operators connected to the network of OJSC “MTT” by connecting in a single point;
• A capability to transmit international and national traffic provided by OJSC “MTT” within the framework of the single signed agreement for connection and interaction between an operator’s network and that of OJSC “MTT”.
