The traditional customers of OJSC “MTT”, the first to start using the Company’s services, are the Russian mobile operators. All the Russian mobile networks of the federal GSM, NMT and IMT-MC standards totaling 124 million users are connected to the multi-service network of OJSC “MTT”.

A sizeable volume of services for routing intra-network and inter-network traffic is rendered by the Company to the service providers of well-known brands in the Russian mobile communication market such as BeeLine, MegaFon, MTS, Skylink, SMARTS and SOTEL.

The major Russian fixed network operators are also customers of OJSC “MTT” using the Company’s services to handle their traffic to the Russian mobile communication networks of the federal standards.

Perspectives of development

Having received the status of the national long-distance communication operator, OJSC “MTT” plans to form a sales network in the regions, to establish mutually advantageous cooperation and interaction with operators of local and  intrazone communication, to promote its trade mark and position itself in the customer market, to attract its own customers in the fixed communication segment, to optimize business processes and migrate to fully customer-oriented model of business conduct in the customer market.

Within the next coming years an extensive growth of mobile communication customer base in RF is anticipated (especially rapid growth is expected in the Russian regions) that provides   favorable opportunities for future development of the MTT business. OJSC “MTT” plans to further promote value-added services for international operators of fixed and mobile communication networks, carry on work for setting-up of direct connections with national operators in CIS countries and with the largest international telecom operators.
