Andrey Azhigirov was born in Moscow, in 1973.
In 1996, Andrey Azhigirov graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation with a degree in optics engineering. In 2001, he acquired the Master of Science degree in Operational Telecommunications in the Coventry University, UK.
Since start of his career in 1997 as the sales manager in small alternative operator he later consecutively worked through several positions in Sovintel and later in Golden Telecom.
He became VP of Carrier Services in Golden Telecom, the largest alternative carrier in 2006. Golden Telecom was merged with Vimpelcom (Beeline™) in 2007 where he continued working as the Director for Carrier Services and Roaming. In 2014 he moved to the new fast developing area inside Beeline and became Integrated Infrastructure Director with the main responsibility to develop project of sharing infrastructure with other mobile operators.
Since May 2015: Deputy General Manager for Business Development in “Multiregional TransitTelecom” responsible for all wholesale activities and international relations.
Since January 2015: Deputy General Manager, Head of Carrier Services in “Multiregional TransitTelecom”.
